How many of you cats are sitting at your desk right now hitting the refresh button every 5 minutes waiting for new bucks to be posted, then reading the stories, and seeing the pics and driving yourself COMPLETELY INSANE because you're not out in a tree too?

Hand is raised here! I even took a long lunch today and went and hung a stand. Now hopefully I can get out Friday morning and hunt it! Then a full weekend in the stand...if I need it.
 
I just keep reminding myself that I've only got a few more days and I'll be getting my treestand therapy for the year - Nov 7 thru 16. From the forecasts it looks to be good and I can't hardly concentrate.

My hand is up! I took a longer lunch as well just to take a drive our around the countryside to see if I could spot something moving. I got Friday off and it can't get here fast enough! Not only am I hitting the refresh key every 20 seconds, but I'm also probably driving most of my friends crazy by sending them a million emails about this coming weekend.

It's pretty nice! Got two more years left of it...so i'm taking advantage of it! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Looking ahead at my schedule, and with a week break for thanksgiving, it looks like i'll have around 18-20 days of hunting left in November! Can't complain about that!

DO NOT GRADUATE. Stay there and get another degree. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif I couldn't wait to get out and "make money". What the heck was I thinking! I remember bowhunting nearly every single day either morning or evening come November. There were many days I went to class in camo straight from the stand or from the duck marsh...we'd stay till the last possible second and drive like maniacs to get to class....on the days we went to class. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
 
I have been postponing my vacation waiting on cooler weather. I hope all the big boys aren't locked down by Friday. Warm weather hasn't seemed to slow my sightings on the way to and from work. I am always second guessing my decisions! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif I am ready for some higher altitude that's for sure! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
 
16 hrs and 21 minutes and I'm leaving for the southern iowa farm!!!! Next four days is something I really look forward to each year.

You guys should all be thankful you have a computer sitting in front of you to hit the refresh button on. Instead I have to actually drive all over the county- on mainly county back roads- and actually see deer running all over creation and know that I can't be hunting them! Friday cannot be here quick enough, I will agree with that!
