Midwest has it all!!!!!
Once every 3 years my hunting partner and I acquire enough points to draw the best whitetail tag there is.... the Iowa Buck Tag. It is ten hours from central Arkansas to Iowa ... and it is well worth our time and effort. We came up and hunted the first couple of weeks of November on land that we had "door knocked" during the summer. Did the ol "Do it yourself" approach and had a ball. Iowa is the best, not just the Bucks, but the people are great to. Few pics to pass along.

I know a lot of guys who live here their whole lives without killing bucks that nice. Looks like you guys had a great trip, congrats!
 
Awesome Jeff, glad you guys enjoyed yourselves. I experienced much of the same when waterfowling down there. A bunch of great folks and even better waterfowling. Congrats on the great whitetails and good luck when you make it back!
