Ended up having a couple run ins with sheep. I couldn't believe how tame they were. I walked right up to them once and took some pictures from 8 yards away.
If I remember right they opened the sheep season in the Pecos in the mid '90s. Someone forgot to tell these guys, though. The big ram below (we called him Garth) ended up getting killed by a hunter.
