Not sure if anybody on this site still remembers me

, but for those who don't I'm Ironwood's boy.

I took a trip down to New Mexico this past summer to wrangle for an outfitter in the Pecos Wilderness. Her elk and deer hunters bailed on her (too late for her to find someone to fill the slots) so we were only in the mountains with trailriders for a month. We were about 12 miles from the nearest gas or electric anything. It was AWESOME! Dad even made the trip down to help us pack the camp out in September.

P Diamond J Outfitters is owned by PJ Loomer. There are plenty of elk and deer around, and the scenery is GORGEOUS! If anyone wants to take a hunting or trailriding trip, you should definitely check this out.

More pictures are coming!

i too remember. i am however disappointed in the lack of consideration you have for others....YOU ONLY POSTED ONE PICTURE!!!!! haha looks fun. catch a few cutthroats did ya?

We just moved to NM and LOVE it. We can live anywhere we want in the US and NM has it all, so we are here. Beautiful scenery and mountains, 300 days of sun, mild winters, world class hunting, cheap cost of living, and extremely friendly people. Great pics; maybe now these IA guys will believe that NM is pretty. Nah......they will probably cry fowl and say that it was a conspiracy and claim that the pics are photoshopped. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif They told me that NM was ugly, flat, sandy, rundown, and that the towns' names are too spanish sounding. Oh, and I was told that 85 degrees with IA's humidity was better than any day in NM at 100 with no humidity.
Did you know that NM has more big game species to hunt than anywhere in the US? Actually I miss just deer and turkey as the only big game options. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif
Looks like quite an adventure and I can't wait for the hunting adventures that NM will offer me. You got me fired up. THANKS for sharing; appreciate it.

Looks good MadisonB&C. You got that hair tucked up under your hat?

HCH, I'm expecting lots of harvest photos come this season!

Great pics Nate. Our shed hunting trip yesterday really puts in perspective how nice NM is. Sure could have used that horse yesterday that's for sure.

Ironwood's boy??? Who is Ironwood? Is that someone I should know?
Haha!!
Sweet pictures Nate.....Looks like memories that will last for life. Man I'm getting old.. seems like it was just yesterday you were reading over my shoulder in study hall instead of studying.

Nope. No sheds, Skully.

JNRBRONC, I think maybe you have me mistaken for somebody? /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
