Pedestal mount

Hey guys, I'm going to have a pedestal mount done with the buck I shot this year. Just looking for some ideas. I've got a big cedar post that's been rubbed down pretty good. I was going to use that with some grass and habitat around the bottom. Anyone have a mount like this? I'm looking for some pictures so I can get a better idea of how the mount will turn out. Post any pedestal mount pictures you guys may have.

Check out taxidermy.net and search for pedestal pics and you'll find plenty of examples of awesome looking habitat setups.

Another idea, this is a members mount from his buck from last year in the works. This will look nice as well they are using a section of Osage. A rotating mount sits on top of the post using a form made for it.
If the owner sees this it looks good!

Can't figure out how to upload pics from phone but got the pic as my profile picture. I found a old hedge post on my property that looked really old but big and sturdy cut off at ground and kept some barbwire to go with it took it to the taxidermist and we screwed it down to piece of plywood and poured some liquid that expands like foam on base before it dried placed cornstalks and dirt in it then painted some to look natural. Mounted the deer on top the post. Put a shed on base and broken arrow from the shot to add some more detail. Takes up space but sure looks cool.

Also, how big is the base? I'm curious as to how big it needs to be in order for it not to tip over.
