Peep sight problem

I could care less what my string looks like, I just want to see through my darn peep! Now if I could just make a friend with someone who has a press I'll be fine.

I asked them about the strand swaping process last night and the guy said it's not a good idea to seperate the brown strands from the orange. At this point I'm willing to try anything.

That is just their way of selling a new string. I can tell you this if you take it to Mr. Mike Carter in St.Joe that is exactly what he would do, swap strings.
He builds strings for a living and that is exactly what he does when you tell him your peep has moved, he starts moving strands. But you will have to wait about 2-3 weeks for that.

180...I had a similar problem with my peep on my Trykon. I did not want a tube on my new peep, but did have trouble getting the peep to settle in. CIA did give my string a half a twist and I fiddled with it for a while and now comes back to same spot every time. Sounds like yours is a lot worse and Rudd's idea might be your best bet now.

To get by can you just twist your peep till it is straight. Kind of like working the peep in only manually

Only bad thing is that you have to do it each time you shoot.
Good thing is that you dont shoot a lot while hunting.

I had to do this until I could get my peep fixed and it worked fine.

It worked for me so hopefully you can get by.
