Pheasant hunt SD

Friday we are heading to Mobridge So Dak for a 3 day bird hunt. Just wondering if anyone here has hunted the area, particularly the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. Aint shot me a bird in 3 years due to the low population here in Iowa, so I cant wait!

I go every year about 175 miles south of Mobridge in Ideal. We almost always limit out. Lots of birds around Ideal. Are you going with a guide or public?

The mobridge area saw a 17% increase in our pheasant brood counts, so should be decent for you. I live about 100 miles south of there (Pierre) and the pheasant #s look great.

Thanks guys. We are going on the indian reservation, no guide, just a map with the hunting spots we can go to. I did see the reported increase in population! Cannot wait!
