Pheasant Opener

Man the wind made it tuff but it was the best opener we have had in some time. I hope things get back to the way they where for years when you could count on hunting like this. Another down side to this Saturdays was the extreem dry conditions. The dogs had much difficulty finding downed birds, but we all had a blast.

Looks like the youngest is wearing your
Old Milwaukee sweatshirt from the 80's Mr. Wood

Congrats! Looks like alot of fun was had. Harvest picts. like that take me back to the first couple years I was able to hunt (bolt action 4 10)! Good to see the birds are doing good.

It looks like you had better luck than my dad's group! They only shot three birds, but the weather was horrible for the opener. Congrats!

I use to wear that sweat shirt and a few others hunting. Now they think these are the greatest sweat shirts because they remember me with them on rolling in the drive with something dead in the truck.

My High School buddy got everything the city was dumping from one of its parks and moved them home. This guy runs a very produtive machine and welding shop right on the farm. My brother pops a tire just as he is arriving to hunt on Saturday and wala patched and back on the road in 5 minutes. Very convient I thought. You should see all the great things he puts together.

I've heard mixed reviews for the opener, but it looks like you had a heck of a hunt. I've got a great hors-de orves(sp?) recipe for pheasant if anyone would like it.

Nice ditch parrots.

Good LORD! Drug that kid and shear him, pretty soon guys'll be hitting on his femenine looking self.

MadisonB&C, how much would it cost to bribe you and a couple of your buddies to hold your bro down and let someone shave his head? Highest bidder gets the honors and all proceedes go to iowawhitetail?
