Pics of our new home

We wanted to live in the mountains with a big elk herd, mule deer, and bears; so we made our dream a realty. Living in Steamboat Springs,CO. This area has the largest elk herd in NA. I will be busy learning the elk and their habits. We have only hunted elk once before so we have lots to learn. We couldn't be happier, it is like being on vacation everyday waking up here. Steamboat Springs is a gorgeous town surrounded by beautiful scenery and no hot, humid weather. Lots of snow, but mild winter temps. Any elk hunters out there? IowaQDM, you want to hunt here, you are more than welcome. Keep my cell # that I pmed you. Pics are of Steamboat and off of a deck over looking BLM ground outside of Steamboat.

Here they are. It is smaller than we are used to, but, cost of living there is so much higher than here in Iowa.

Thank you, I think it is over the counter tag zone. We saw a ton of wildlife there two weekends ago when we were out there securing a home.

that looks like an amazing area. I lived in Colorado Springs for a while about 6 yrs ago. I didnt care for city life but was blown away every time I drove into the mountains. Good luck on starting a new life.

Why are the losers in life always jealous of others' good fortune and hard work? DDT can't congratulate us on our new move and adventure in life, but wants to insuate that we are living in a camper. Cool man, makes me want to race out and be a PMA member like you so I can insult others on here too. You are way too cool. Don't break down in the area or ask for any elk hunting tips in the area, info or help will be denied.

BTW....I've hunted just north of Steamboat, beautiful area, you're gonna love it!!
