After the hunt and heading home I have come upon some nice bucks in the road and in the ditches. Last week, I stopped to watch a booner 10 in my headlights, he went into the ditch and watched as I went by. A day later at the same area another big 10 with a drop did the same thing.
I now carry my camera on the front seat and have it prefocused at the distance of the ditches for the ride home.
here are a few pictures from the last few days. I hold the camera out the window at arms length and start taking pictures. I have my 55 mm lens on and use the flash.
