Friend of mine selling a really nice 4 row White planter for a VERY fair price - would be awesome for food plots

not just gunrunr, but anyone on here know if a 27 hp could handle this? I have an older ford 1710. I know I can pull a 2 row easily and barely run a 5' tiller. I'm guessing a 4 row planter will either barely work or barely not work.

I'm guessing it would pull it on nice flat dry ground as long as you have the hydraulics to lift it. but get in sticky situations or some hills and it may test your tractor.

Your last two posts were exactly what I expected!
1. My tractor would be borderline.
2. It was going to sell fast at that price!

What is your tractor? To me there is a difference in a newer 27 hp hydrostatic tractor and an older geared tractor. The older tractors were heavier compared to their horsepower. I have wondered about pulling our sweetcorn planter ( 4 row jd 7000) with my jd 2720, but would have to make adapters for hydraulics so we pull it with a 6420.
