Plastic Holsters Scratched My Gun

I have a molded kydex holster. Its comfortable to wear but its scratching my gun. Is it common with Plastic Holsters?

Yes, this is normal. Usually most of the scuffing is plastic transfer to the gun and wipes off when you clean it. Over time you'll have some wear of whatever coating (nitride, nickel, etc) is on your gun slide though.

Doesn’t Kydex wear cerakote finishes over time? That’s why I’ve been hesitant to get a hard holster.
