Hey, I'm sorry about what happened. I said some not so nice things to Cooter, and I wanted to make a public apology. I got so mad I almost wanted to quit hunting but what I did instead was grab the $500 I had saved up went out, bought a entirely new setup for my bow and my parents chipped in on a new shotgun with a scope. I don't have my Bow tag because I'm too busy with Cross Country and I've been shooting 100+ arrows a night (even in this wind) and I've been dead on. I think I'll wait 'til late in the season to hunt because I want to be ready.

Hey glad to see you back man! Even more happy that you didn't give up on hunting! Enjoy the new toys and keep on practicing! The new stuff may help, but it really comes down to the operator!

He's back!! Welcome back and continue to work on your skill and im sure with your passion you will be just fine :way:

Honestly bud, dont let anyone on this site get to you. Trust me, get some thick skin, because most people on here like to act like they do no wrong. I have been there and done that with people on this site, and I will admit, there are pry times I have came off that way. Its just a website, take it with a grain of salt. There are more important things out there... glad you kept your head up, and are still around to share your stories! Good luck this fall, and I am sure I will run into you one of these times!

Learning from mistakes is part of life. Welcome back and I'm not entirely sure you need to wait unti late season to try and shoot a deer, because then you have to deal with all the extra clothing when shooting. Keep practicing and maybe mark out distances at your stand/blind locations so you know exactly how far you're shooting. Limit the distance and find success. Practice long distances, hunt short distances.

Welcome back.

One thing to remember is just have fun. Start when you can and hunt as

often and as long as you can.

Glad you're back! I was really hoping that you didn't get so frustrated as to give up on this site. I have enjoyed what you bring to the table here. Keep it up!

Great to have you back, man. Hunting season is not the same here without your input. Quality equiptment and putting in the time to be become one with it, is all you needed. No reason to not get right back in the field though, when you have time. Get a doe bow tag and get your confidence back, then go kill a big one. Looks like this is the year, the way it has all ready started.

I am glad to see that you are back, welcome. I have enjoyed many of your posts and appreciate the energy and excitement that a young hunter has. I truly don't know all of the details on what led to your brief hiatus, and I don't need to, but hopefully all is well now and lessons have been learned all around.

I echo what several others have said...hunting should be fun, don't let it be otherwise IMO.

The admins (professional hunters) are power trips and seem to never do anything wrong and he got fired up about it which was the right thing to do, he just went the wrong way about doing so...sometimes the criticism is taken a little to far and the "professional hunters" always end up on top...I've been banned a few times myself for criticism in which the admins/professionals couldn't take...life goes on...

Welcome back. Keep practicing and know your limits(and adhere to them). As you improve in your practices so will your limits but always try to error on the side of the animal. Remember, if you don't get them this season and if they(fur and fowl) survive they will have passed on their genes and will be bigger/better next year.

Good luck the rest of the seasons.

Welcome back, you're among a forgiving crowd who most of which has done a lot of dumb things in our later years but especially as teenagers. No worries. Hope you have a fun season & keep the reports coming...

Keep your head up and get back on the horse. I have made tons of mistakes in my life and the important part is making things right. I have also shot big ones i didnt find, since i made my bow range 30 yds. It's not a contest, hunting should make you happy
