Does anyone have a recommendation for who to contact to fix a leak in a pond and for help with algae and weed management? Pond is located in Albia area.

Thanks!!

Local dozer guy.... can't help ya in Albia.

As for weed and algae that's somthing I've been researching lately. Full disclosure.... this is not first hand experience (yet) but I did research it quite a bit.

I bought flumigard and alligare90 (surfactant) to spray for duck weed and filamentous algae. Spraying today actually! Will report back results.

I got a mailing from NaturalWaterscapes.com over the weekend. They sell leak fixes (not sure that is the way I'd go, I didn't get lucky fixing a pond that way). They also offer pond herbicides. Not saying to buy from them, but some reading at their website might stimulate some ideas and you'll have a price comparison.

How bad is leak and do u need an excavator/dozer? I know some guys use bentonite for leaks & some positive feedback there. Dunno if it’s applicable in your case but worth checking into.
