Been after hogs every weekend since moving back home. Had a good day on Sunday. Could have shot a bunch more if we had been paying attention. Both of these hogs were caught by our dogs and stuck with a knife.

275 lb boar. Had about 2 inch cutters on him. He tore up the dogs pretty bad.

We use treeing walkers for track dogs and once they get the hog up and running we turn catahoulas on them. The catahoulas will catch the hogs but mostly just bay them. Then we turn loose the bull dogs. Once they get there all the dogs will pile on the hog till we get there.

The dog in the picture is one of our catahoula's.

That first picture looks like it was straight out of a horror move. That dog is freaking me out a little.....

But that sounds like a lot of fun!

Sounds like fun man. I enjoy the hell out of running walkers up here chasing yotes. I'd love to stick a pig with a knife!

Congratulations sounds like it could get a little intense at times but sounds fun idk about stabbing with a knife my self but I have a spear made by cold steel that would be kick a%#

Can you eat that big boar? All sausage?

Their actually pretty good. Slice up the loin and fry em. I smoke the shoulders and make pulled pork. The hams I will smoke them put in a roaster and finish. Ribs are good as well. The bigger boars 375+ lb, will usually get turned into sausage. But the loins are still fine in them.
