Hate to this to you bradley, but the right base has the Wisconsin metal tag that replaces the tag. Those get put on when we go register our deer. :D

On a side note, I also agree that is a crazy deal that the other post talks about regarding the IDNR taking deer away without having a tag on it.
 
I'm guessing too many "de-ducks" to break 189 3/8 net, but sweet critter all the same!
The article said 202 net green score, unless they meant gross. Even a true gross score is after side to side deductions. Looks to be a new state record...congrats to him!

gross is after deductions? maybe its just me but am i missing something here?:confused:

great deer, and congrats to the hunter! but i wouldnt imagine that deer over mid to high 170, maybe low 180 net. maybe he just looks smaller in pictures than he really is?

i just looked again, the caption below the picture said gross green score. i ddint read the artical again tho
