Pretty cool

My step dad asked me to pick this up for him and hang on to it til he can get it. It belonged to his dad. I also picked up an old Ted Williams 22 bolt action with peep sight and a Ted Williams 20 ga pump. All 3 are in like new condition. The kit is my favorite. It looks like it was used once or twice. I'm guessing a late 1960's purchase. Anyone have any guess's what vintage the kit is?

That's pretty neat. I like to find old hunting & fishing stuff like that in small town thrift & antique shops. Is he going to display it?

Sears used Ted to promote sportingood products in there stores including guns and hunting ptoducts in the 60's and 70's.Ted Williams (The Splendid Spinter)is a Hall of Famer for the Boston Red Sox's from 1939-1960.He took 5yrs. away from baseball to serve during wartime and received several injuries during that time.
