Pretty good encounter last night on film

Cool video, I didn't sit last night with the warmer temps. Going to pull the card where I was going to sit hopefully something is showing up in daylight. The plot is already tore up (brassicas) can't believe the bulbs have already been pulled up.
 
You are a better man than me, as I am not sure I could have passed him up. He will be a giant if he makes it to next year. Great Video.
 
You must have some real monsters at your place to pass a buck like that, I don't think I would have even thought twice about whether thats a shooter or not.
 
He was straight up hounding a doe like she was in heat..... and I think that is a 4 year old so its not like it is a pup getting excited prematurely.

On Sunday Oct. 12 I jumped a 160-170" 10 that was bedded with a lone doe... Weird year if you ask me!
 
Very good buck with a great frame. I suspect taller tines and he would have been in the truck at the end of the evening. Thanks for sharing.
 
IDK what it is, but I just really like big 8's - I pass a lot of deer each year- but im pretty sure I would have already had the spot ready for him on the wall:) Dandy of an 8!

I have the same weakness for big 8s.

I don't think I could have passed on that deer
 
What I was wondering and pry many others, is can you post the picture of the deer your after? That 8 would be tough to pass

An 8 like that is on my bucket list. I wouldn't have been able to pass him up!
