does any one out there use a pro bow camera mount that mounts on a tree. i just won one from outdoors dan and wondered if anyone uses one. also do you mount it on the tree above you or do you mount it on a tree next to you?
 
I have one and have taped several hunts with it, i had to modify it some to make it more user friendly. but it does a good job with a small camera and a straight tree.....
 
My advice with the tree mount camcorder holders is to modify them and attach them to the front of your treestand. It is much easier IMO to run it while in front of you instead of on the side of tree.
 
thanks for the info and i think that i might try and customize it so i can mount it to the treestand. thanks for the advice.
