Here is one of the new bearings with misc. parts, but problem is they shipped the bearing to short. So for now everything is ready to go just waiting on the new wood bearings.

Looks like fun. Good luck. I have a 7 or 8 foot shaft with the rollers if anyone out there needs a project. I bought a few yrs ago to make a 3 point cultipacker and found a different one. will sell $200 at nw ia. call me 7122292591

Bowdude,

I hope they send me the correct one.

I have not started to rebuild mine yet.

I will just follow your post and do exactly what you do. :way:

Don't worry, I caught them before they shipped yours and told them you need the exact same thing.

Thanks for doing that.

I see that I was billed so I should be

Seeing it soon.

Btw Great post.

I have the bearings, put the thing together. Still seems like I have more slack in the rollers than I would like. So ran to DesMoines Bolt and picked up some big washers, I am going to pull each end off and add some washers in.
Bearings worked great.

Where did you get the wooden bearing blocks?
I have two cultipackers here I want to rebuild.

If they are the "Dunham" brand there is a place in Maine where I got them.

There may be (2) sizes since they sent me the shorter ones first, I still have them if you want to see.
