I thought you might find this interesting, -- maybe even SICKENING! The National Association of Realtors is all over this and working to get it repealed, -- before it takes effect. But, I am very pleased we aren't the only ones who know about this ploy to steal billions from unsuspecting homeowners. How many realtors do you think will vote Democratic in 2012? Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home, etc. When did this happen? It's in the health care bill, -- and it goes into effect in 2013. Why 2013? Could it be so that it doesn’t come to light until after the 2012 elections? So, this is ‘change you can believe in’? Under the new health care bill all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% sales tax. If you sell a $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation, -- who often downsize their homes. Does this make your November, 2012 vote more important? Oh, you weren't aware that this was in the ObamaCare bill? Guess what; you aren't alone! There are more than a few members of Congress that weren't aware of it either. There are income qualifications on this but who cares it is still a terrible tax, it also is a tax on much more than just houses, can you say Iowa farmland!!

This prez has many enemies; realtors, oil industry, health care, banking/insurance, non-union employees, small businesses, farmers you name it!!
 
Ya, he needs to be out and it can't come soon enough....if you're going to be in the woods on election day, make sure to fill out the absentee ballot!!

Yes I do think the next president will be better. Obama has scary beliefs, he seems to be against nearly every principle that I have been taught

Blah blah blah. I think we all should post links to our favorite drudge report articles on our favorite hunting forum... most hunters I know think just like the Nuge, amirite? Better yet, why don't we start a new thread about how that guy in office is gonna take all our guns away...

Not sure what you are trying to say here, if you are an Obama supporter or what?

This tax is on more than homes, and any hunter/landowner/farmer could be impacted, therefore VERY relevant to the site as we have numerous landowners and farmers on here... Matter of fact according to Farm CPA Today it will start in January of 2013 and it is a tax on dividends, interest income, business income, farm income (cash rent and CRP).

It just bothers me that anyone defends him/his administration with the old "get the garbage off the site" comeback

It is garbage. The tax only applies to people making over $250k/yr, and even then the tax would only apply to profits made beyond $250k.

I would say that the link you posted is exceptionally deceiving, and it is garbage.

Obama's made it no secret that he wants to raise taxes on individuals in that earning class... important details of which your article conveniently fails to mention.

Oh it only applies to people making $250k a year, so you are a class warfare supporter. Those people that make that kind of money are sub-human (not important).

Do you realize how many farmers fall in that class? I never posted the link either. I support it being posted because this tax is very unpopular and was snuck on the bill (it has nothing to do with healthcare).

Robin Hood has to go, and I predict he will go, this guy is anti-American and anti-business. Do you understand that this will not help unemployment, I am in the business community and several of my friends have plans to reduce employees due to this tax and the mandate that businessowners provide health insurance if they have 50 or more employees.

If they have 80 employees they will fire 31 of them to stay under the mandate. They cannot afford the premiums!!

Hardwood I brought it to light so everyone knows exactly what the tax

is and to be informed. I get dozens of emails everyday from uninformed

people and believe it or not some people base their decisions off of these

emails and the lies. Both parties are at fault IMO.
 
Post wasn't intended turn nasty Packnasty, you're getting carried away again like you did last year. Just an awareness for the "real" americans and their spiirit of freedom that we need to defend once again like our forefathers did. Both parties have gotten of track but this dude's goal is to break us down and it's time to defend what we all worked so hard for.

Why even try to make more than $250k/yr? Why go to college for 6-8-10 years to achieve this level of income? Why take a chance at a new idea or business that may create jobs? All these mean rich SOB's do is buy new cars, boats, campers and tractors to support this ailing economy and put Americans back to work. They have won life's lottery and yes...steal their money!!!
