Pumpkins/ squash

Went down to put some fertilizer on the on the brassicas that I had planted and spread some winter rye. The deer have already found the pumpkins. Hopefully not all gone before season roles around

Looks good. I think mine are a bust, foxtail took over and overtook the plot. Next year i plan to spray clethodim around July 4th to give them a chance.

I sprayed 2 times once before and once after they came up. The lack of rain for a few months didn't let anything really grow would be my guess. Mother in law thought we should try to pick and sell them. Sounds like non sense to me

That little plot will get hammered now.
I'm in the same boat. I only planted one 1/4 acre plot this year and the deer just started on them.
It will be empty by the time I start hunting in late oct.
