Hit a buck tonight at 5:30 I hit him a little high possibly got a piece of the shoulder. Retrieved my arrow and got 11" of penetration. Blood was bright red and had a good dime sized drop of blood where I found my arrow ( he ran off with it). The the shot was perfect left to right just a little high. I'm sure with that much penetration I had to get at least one lung right? Anyway I backed out and gonna leave him overnight and track in morning.
 
Good luck. I'm picking up the track of a big one tomorrow too. Guess neither of us get to sleep.
 
I hit a buck in the from shoulder blade tonight, quarterin to a lil and i punched one lung. Got probably 12 inches penetration. At first blood was a small drop for 50-60 yards. If you hit a lung he should of opened up. Give him time.
