Question about cover scents

Was reading an earlier post where alot of you were saying "smoke" was the best cover scent, this got me thinking. So I fired up the electric smoker the other night and filled the water bowl with distilled water and let the biscuits fall into the water changing it out every 45 minutes, while keeping the other 1.5 gallons of water in the smoker I was changing it out with. I then filtered the smoke water into sprayers. Think this will work? It has a good heavy smoke smell to it. Thanks for any input :way:

OK!! My input! Hang your gear outside! I've had great success with Dead Down Wind!! Spray my decoy with it and had deer touch their noses to it with no adverse effect!! I don't wanna smoke my hunting gear! Do what ya do!!
