question for last week of bow

tph

New Member
ok, this is basicily the last normal week for bow hunting and i wont be able to get out in the early mornings or eveings but i would have time to get out at about 8:30 am till about noon. question is do you guys think it would be worth it? and if so is it worth throwing the book a them with calls and rattleing?? just curious what everyones opinions are. thanks

I would get back into the timber close to a bedding area or funnel where they move around during the day. I would also be conservative with your calling if you have been hammering them lately. I know that the deer in my areas get super skittish after the shotgunners have their way with them.

the thing is i havent been out for a week and i did no calling then, i have 1 stand i haven't sat in for proly 3 weeks and i plan on headding to it, it would be the closest to bedding area and eaisest to slip in at 8:30am.

Sat yesterday- did'nt see a deer until 9:15am. From then until 10:30am saw around thirty five. Ten were bucks, so I would say go for it.

wow! sounds fun! i will proly give it a shot a few days this week, hopefully i can get something arrowed!
