Funny you should mention that. Yes...the tip of my wood blade is bent. Nothing a little work with a vice grip couldn't fix, but at one point it was bent enough to where it was tough to fold back into the handle. Maybe they need to think about making this blade a bit stiffer.

The only time I bent mine was when I was cutting wood that was really too big for the saw. Wasn't paying close enough attention and going to fast. Vise straightened it out though.

...I agree - I love that little saw, LC...what are the reasons for not splitting the ribs or pelvic bone?...I have done it both ways and have not noticed a difference in taste...I also feel that I get everything cleaner when I split both bones...
