I have a couple Cat 1 quick hitches and a Pat's quick hitch as well that's a Cat 1 - Cat 2 conversion.
As mentioned, not all implements are compatible if your Quick Hitch is the stationary type.
One of my Cat 1's is a Case, and I remember correctly, the other is a Speedco. I like the Case better as it is much tighter on the pins. The Speedco is "sloppier" on the regular Cat 1 pins as I think meant for using the QH pins, which I didn't buy and replace on the implements.....
On my Cat 1 implements using the Cat 1 QH, I also find that I need to adjust the top link hook when swapping between my tiller and rotary cutter for example.
I kinda like Pats QH for these reasons. I think it would fit more implements, and I don't have to fight the top link hook to get on the implement, or adjust it for the implement top link height.
You'll extend the implement approx. 3-5" further out using a QH so hopefully your pto shafts have extra length to work with if using pto driven equip.
