quick question

Whats everyones thought on this..I am selling my old bow, its a buckmaster g2, its 6 years old. Its like new, would come with sight, rest, stabilizer, case, and 4 arrows...think 300 is to much to ask out of it?? granted, i havent gone into a lot of details, just curious...a kid wants to buy it, and so i kinda made a starter kit out of it for him...thanks for the input

300 sounds good.... considering if he was buying new he would spend 3 to 4 times that amount.... it just depends on the condition and types of acessories thats coming with it.... i think its a good starting price

How old is this "Kid"? Is it his first bow? I would let him borrow it with the option to buy if it was me and the bow being that old. Especially if he is new to the sport.

"like new" has a lot of definitions. you can get a brand new bow, completely set up, for right around $300-$400 in a lot of stores. Without seeing the accessories and such I'd say that is a little high, especially if it's 6 years old.

I would say that it's a little steep. Muddy's right in that the kid can go to a shop and choose his accessories on a new bow for around the same money.

i traded my G2 on a switchback XT for 250 and that was bare. this was last july

Well..it sold for 300...and like new, well, that was new string, no scratches, no marks on it....the kid bought it, saying, this is so cheap, the others one I looked at were 300 for a bare bow...so idk...thanks though guys

I agree that $300 is a little hight. I tried to sell my G2XL for that price for about 2 years, and couldn't find any takers, I finally traded it on my Trykon, and got $200 out of it.

Well, actually I couldnt sell it to him now..it was my choice not to sell, because he wanted to take it turkey hunting this weekend...so he would have had 2 days of practice, if he bothered at all, and wanted to hunt turkeys..I told him no...and yeah, I am going to lower the price some, and put it in the classifieds if anyone is interested...
