Rage and Easton

OK I have been shooting rage 2 blade broadheads for two years. And I have been shooting Easton excel 400 arrows for the same amount of time. After two broken arrows right before the lettering I am ditching Easton products. Second I tried the red rage 3 blade mechanical and all I can say is junk. The blades jam on impact and the chisel tip breaks right off. I have sent numerous complaints to rage about there broadheads and they go unanswered.

Any ideas on a good arrow for hunting slim design.

Carbon express blue streaks have been awesome to me. I shot my buck a bit forward and straight down Saturday. 14 inches of penetration with my arrow sticking straight up out of his back he ran through some thicket and under a fence and that is where
I found the arrow still intact

I've shot GoldTip arrows since we had Y2K and can't complain one bit. I bumped to the 75/95 models as of late for better penetration and have been VERY satisfied.

Easton makes alot off variations of arrows. I've shot the easton full metal jackets for 6 years and have yet to have one break. In fact, I witnessed someone miss a block target and skip one off the ground and stuck into a metal dumpster. Simply unscrewed the tip out of the metal and arrow was still fine. Pretty tough arrow. Point is, it might be the type of easton you are shooting or a result of a bone hit deer that didn't penetrate well and the deer broke it off? Just my. 02...

I also have skipped two Easton da'torch arrows off gravel, into a rock pile, while sighting in a new sight, and both just had some minor scratches but after a new field tip, still were shooting straight. But there are a lot of options out there.

I switched to the hypodermics, have heard good thing, hoping to send one through a buck this weekend.

I shoot the easton axis n-fused carbons and so far they have been indestructible. I think they are a little more expensive than a lot of the others, but why would anyone skimp on arrows. As far as the rages go, I'm just not a fan of them.

Forgot to add with my blue streaks I have put a few through the side of the barn when sighting them in and they came out and were shooting fine.

I shoot the easton axis with rage hypodermic. These arrows r very tough only one I have broke is from a robin hood. As for these rages they r a huge improvement from past models. Both mine and my brothers Buck only ran less than 50 yds with full pass threw on both. And unlike the older models these didn't break or bend the blades when they went threw the ribs

I've shot gold tip xt and expedition hunters 7595 with rage heads for a while now. Never had a problem with penetration or finding deer very close to the stand after the shot.

I have shot easton products for years and never had any issues. I have shot lightspeeds, axis, excels, epics and i am currently shooting bloodlines. I have shot 2 does so far this year and pulled both arrows out of the dirt, washed them off and they are back in the quiver with new broad heads. Are the arrows breaking while hitting deer? If they are hitting the off shoulder or something you really cant blame the arrow.

Easton axis 400 and the new rage extreme this year topped off with a nocturnal (red)

No complaints from me! Been shootin rage for 5 years. Axis is new switch for me this year. Used to shoot beaman ICS hunters.
