Rain... Bow question???

Cornfed

Bowhunting Addict
Hey Guys,

I would appreciate your insight... as many of you know this will be the first season in almost 20 years that I have hunted with a compound bow. Tommorrow's forecast looks pretty rainy... what should I do before and or after being in the rain all afternoon with my compound bow? I am not used to having all of these cables, cams, etc. to worry about getting wet.... can I cause any serious damage to my bow.

Any insight and experience with this would be appreciated

Open the case when you get done hunting to let it dry, otherwise you could use compressed air on the rest/cam bolts (that is where I notice little rust coming in)

Bows like to be treated a little rough, hunt and then hang it up in a well ventilated spot.
