Somethings finally developed along this front late. Sw Iowa definitely getting some and along I-80 and NE Iowa. Where it has never been dry. Enjoy you folks!

Yes sir! Abundant rainfall from SW Iowa up Oseola way then up I-35 to DesMoines where I got 1 1/2 inches Then all along I-80 north waterloo Iowa City pertineer to Chicago. Lots a storms! But from about Pella on South and east,,,Zilcho! Zilcho will have to do for ya down there in unless something else developes this week which it is not. Crazy watching radar last night rain just hung there would NOT move SE. Have seen this before over a number of summers over a number of yrs

NW Iowa missed out last night too. Worst continuing drought. Winner. SE Iowa! Burlington only 1/2 inch for June. Farmer I know NW of DesMoines. Three inches! Great. Lookin crops!

3" last Wednesday? when I watered the peach trees, 3" last night. Wish it would coming in smaller chunks, but won't complain.

Yea dont complain. I talked to a farmer who has farmed north of desmoines all his life says he has friends in se iowa. Says Most urs always a dry area down there! Lucky to get one otta four good yrs a crop I watched the arc of storms along I-80 last night try and try to move down there hoir after hour. But they could not. Finally they pressed eastward and gave up! Last summer most every rain moved down? Have no idea what causes this? But. Have observed this before and thid summet were stuck. In drought

So I have planted alot of stuff down in se Iowa. Fruit trees berries gardens. Itold farmer friend up in DesMoines. Why didnt ya tell me it tended to be dry down that way? He said I thot you were just gonna hunt on it!

Hey. Worth more than that for hunting! Last 4 years took a 4,two5s and a 6 yr old. Food plots tilled. Producing apple trees(when it rains?). And a nice vynl sided cabin with pole barn! 500 an acre?

Meant this summer. Anyway I will give this up. This is a deer sight not Accu Weather! The drought deepens for many in SE Iowa and will not just suddenly disappear. Moderate. Drought now. Severe status next.
