Well we were suppose to run track today but rain ( lightning mostly )called that off. It might be a good day to slip over into the hills and catch a lonely mid-day gobbler

The drought is officially over in Western Iowa, creeks and rivers are up...here come the mosquitos, errrr-slap!

No kidding the drought is over!!! When you are up to mowing the yard 3 times a week and you haven't even considered using the sprinklers, we definately are in the "rainy season".

However, it has been a banner year for shrooms, or at least that is what every body tells me! I haven't had a chance to search yet. Getting cranky about that!
