Recoil pad for Wolverine

Deer Nut

PMA Member
My wife shoots an older 50 cal Wolverine. It has the cheapo black synthetic stock. The stock is fairly thin. I've been searching online for a recoil pad that will fit it but I have not had any luck. I don't want a grind to fit. A slip on is what I am looking for. The butt end of the stock doesn't even have a factory pad. It is all solid plastic. Any suggestions?

She will be fine without it in her coveralls. :) of course, if you two are in the blind together maybe she won't be wearing any. ;) those slip on limb savers seem pretty good.

I like a good " clothing optional" deer hunt.
I'm just curious if the LS will fit tight enough over the skinny cheap stock on that Wolverine

LS worked great on my son's Wolverine. I think they have different sizes, but the on I have fits perfectly on a Wolverine.

Prolly get more of those clothing optional hunts if you just bought her a new gun ;)

HAHAHA No doubt!! She's shooting my back up gun. As far as she knows it is hers though :) I have no problem spending $30 on a recoil pad if that makes her happy :D

Get a LS "grind to fit" pad. Lots of options (size & style) under $30 on Amazon or Brownells. Easy install. Happy wife = happy life!

No size listed. I measured the butt end of the recoil pad and it is 5 1/8 of that helps.
