REFLEX bows... super slam

Cornfed

Bowhunting Addict
Anyone have any experience with this bow? I have been toying with the idea of getting a compound bow for spring turkey hunting. I am looking for a bow that is very easy to tune and requires very little messing with.... speed means NOTHING to me. I want a quiet care-free bow. I have not shot a compound bow in over 15 years so I am a little green on all this new high tech stuff. I DON'T want something that requires a trip to the local proshop everytime something is adjusted. I originally thought that the Matthews lineup would be the way to go,... but after reading the string issues regarding others experiences here with the Outback, etc I think I will consider something else.... any advise is appreciated

I don't have that model, but I do shoot a Reflex. I'm am very happy with it.

Reflex bows are a very nice quality bow with all the features of a Hoyt. I have not shot this bow, ut we gave a autographed chuck adams superslam away at the deer classic, and it seemed like a nice bow. I have not heard anything bad about it. My father in law shoots the buckskin and loves it.

I assume you're going to shoot fingers. In that case, any quality bow with long axle-to-axle length will work. I have several friends shooting long reflex bows with fingers and they love 'em. In your case, I'd say stay away from the Mathews, they do make a longer finger-shooting bow, but you could get the reflex much cheaper...

Thanks for the insight guys..... I love shooting 'stickbows' so I know my initial feelings test driving compounds will be mixed.... but I would like the versatility for certain seasons ie. spring gobbler and late deer season. I get stiff after the temps drop below 25 degrees and it is very hard for me to comfortably and accurately shoot my recurve... the let-off would sure come in nice at times on gobblers as well as late season bucks....
