I think you should have it in Kansas City. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

That poll only had 178 participants, so I wouldn't think that it is an accurate indicator of where everyone's at.

Me too!!

I will keep this topic rolling. As soon as the bugs are out hopefully Blake will do a new poll for us and we can get a more accurate idea of where people would be coming from! Sounds like we would have quite a few interested in doing it again!

Been doing a little research! ANyone know anything about Pleasant Creek state park? Looks like a decent location being about 15 mins from Cedar Rapids. There looks like plenty of area to set up a 3-d shoot there and we could certainly do some sort of canoe shoot on the lake as well! They also have 4 cabins available for rent along with over 90 camp sites! Sounds like it has a pretty nice lodge area as well! This is one of the places I am looking into, so anyone from that area have any info on this place??

Also, what about Pine Lake? Where the IBA Fall Festival was hosted?

Just throwing a couple of ideas out!

Teeroy, is there camping or cabin areas down by Stuart?

Andy,...I can really appreciate your enthusiasm....

LOL!!! True, But I am stuck in an office, and If i don't think about something besides getting in a tree, then I am going to end up quiting my job!!!!

This is what we call a time filler!!

there is a state park about 50 yards further down the highway from the turn off to the stuart course. no cabins, but plenty of camping along the river. may even be able to talk gary into allowing some camping at the course...its been done before.

i was thinking this was a project for next year sometime, isn't it?

Is it a State Park or County Park? The only State Park in the area that I know of is Springbrook. Nations Bridges is a county park just down the road right along the river. Geez Troy, thought you grew up around there.....lol

Anyway, at Nations Bridges, Thursday nite camping is free!
