Replacement Straps

What kind of straps, do you guys use, for climbing sticks?

I want to stay away from ratchet straps because I don't want to make to much noise in the morning or have it take to long to setup.

There are a lot of different types of straps, at the hardware store, but I want to know which ones I can get away with attaching sticks to the tree.

Any suggestions?
 
There was a thread on here a while ago about making your own out of rope, don't remember what the name of the thread was but someone on here pry does.

I think Cooter was making some and even selling some, but I think they were for the lonewolf sticks.
 
I had a thread titled "silenced my gorillas" where I used rope and a prusick to attach the sticks to the tree. Still using them and still super quiet. I dont know how to attach a link to it but you should be able to search for it.
