Resident Deer License Options

I’m newer to gun hunting in Iowa, so I was hoping for some feedback and clarity regarding the chart in page 33 of the hunting regulations booklet. For example: if someone purchases a regular bow deer license and then purchases a shotgun 1 license, can they still purchase regular shotgun 2 license and/or a late season muzzleloader licenses as long as they did not fill the gun tag in a previous season? Or do you have to choose one between shotgun 1, shotgun 2, and muzzleloader in order to hunt a buck?

Have to choose for your buck tag. And it's only good for that season.

If you’re a landowner you could purchase an additional gun tag, but otherwise you have to choose a season.
