Riding in on a 4 Wheeler

How many of you guys ride in on a Gas powered 4 Wheelers some of the way to your stand? What do you do for scent control after the ride.

done it and killed deer doin it!

i would take spray with you, if thats your thing and give yourself one last squirt before you leave your quad!

i got no problem with riding in like that!

Never had a problem but spray down a bit after. Its better than sweating with a long walk and I stop about 200 yards from my set.

Always, never bothers them i hunt behind my house and my stand is about 3/4 mile back. I always spray when i get off to hunt.

Why are you spraying? DOes yours give off those green fumes like the one on the dead down wind commercial?

I have very few areas I ride my wheeler to the stand.

But I do have a few. I take my tote full of clothes ride in. Get off go through my normal routine of spraying down and getting dressed and away I go. I usually try to give my inner clothes a spray down to.

Thanks for the input I am taking my 6 year old this weekend on the youth hunt here in Missouri. I dont't want to waste hunting time by walking in over a mile. thought about gettin within 300 yards and walking the rest of the way.

Deer are pretty accustomed to the smell of exhaust, so I suggest you let your 4-wheeler idle for a few mintues and stand in exhaust for cover scent before going to your stand.
