Right place right time

It was pretty dead in the woods where we were this weekend. Moving to a new spot Saturday afternoon we stopped and sat down for another sure to be boring set up. I pulled out the slate and started to yelp when a bird gobbled about 60 yards away over a small hump. I have no idea how he didn’t bust us walking in there. 45 seconds or so later he was down.
