Rubber Boot Question

I have qustion reguarding my insulated rubber hunting boots. One of them has a small nickel sized tear on the ankle. The material is not missing, it looks like I caught it on something and just ripped it back a bit. Like I said it is about the size of a nickel. I tried crazy glue but that did not work. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to fix it. It doesnt bother a thing. It just irritates me to look at that tear.

When all else fails GOOP it!!!

They have Silicone caulking we use to fix windows at work in Hardware stores.Put some of that on and spread it even then let it cure for a few hours.Should work great.

definetly the tire patch they work great, scuff the area up a bit put some glue where the patch goes let dry about 30 seconds and put the patch on, then push the patch firmly on the boot. works great.

I ripped my die hard MADE IN USA burlies when they were brand new on barbed wire and used a rubber tire patch that is still holding good. I'm going to hate buying the made in XXXXX replacements one of these days.

Buy a new pair of boots. There is nothing more unfashionable than a poorly dressed deer hunter in the woods. After all, how do you expect Bass Pro and Cabelas to stay in business?

I did like BW and used a tire patch. The rest of the boot is about gone but that tire patch is holding like iron.
