Rubbing Tree

I know I don't post on this site much, but I just put a rubbing/scrape tree in two plots a few weeks ago. Put a camera on each of them and just in the past week or so, they have really started to see quite a bit of activity. Mainly younger bucks for now, but the lone tree in the middle of a plot definitely gets some attention.

Not a ton of rubbing on them, but I specifically chose trees that had branches at about the right height for licking branches (once the tree was a few feet in the ground), and they have been scraping under them quite a bit.

That looks familiar as all get out!!! Try hanging a bar of scented soap on a low branch for those trees you don't want them to rub.

Exactly who I thought rubbed my tree in the yard. A buck I call Pumpkin. 6 1/2 yr old.
