Running behind on growth

I compared some pics from last year end of May to recent pics and this year is a bit behind. Young bucks last year had brows started and older bucks had pretty good beams going. Did the rough winter set things back? Cold Spring? I'll try to get some pics up later, just wondered what others were seeing.

Not seeing alot of difference in growth from last year to this year around here. Their about the same as normal.

I'm sure it varies from area to area, just like some areas bucks drop earlier than others. I have not noticed any difference in growth from my camera pics yet.

We're behind here. It's likely nutrition related as they were dealing with deep snow pretty much until the end of Apr. therefore coming out of winter in good shape.....seems like a rarity.

Just got all the cameras out for pre-season testing.

I'll let ya know. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Checked the cams last night and but didn't pull any cards yet.

Bucks look good with bases, brows, and main beams outside the ears starting to fork.

Got some cool pics of does with tiny little fawns tagging along.

I'll get some pics up when I pull the cards.
