Same, just texted couple buddies that same statement. Was worried it was gonna be tough year as not many mature deer on cam and didn’t know of much that made it through last year. 4 does, 4 fawns and one 3 point.

Ended up seeing 7 does and fawns and one small buck. Sunday evening. No rut action at all.Sat on food this morning and again this afternoon. Very slow as of 3.45. This is normally an active spot especially with this cold. Guessing the wind has them in deeper timber.
Well it was productive. I had constant action. Must have had a hot doe go by...it was like watching a pinball machine full of deer for 3 hours. At least 10 bucks and 5 does going all directions. It was river bottom where I can see 150 or more yards in 3 directions so most were far out. A couple small ones passed in range. Nothing was mature until 4pm when and old 6 pt I've been. Seeing for years was calmly following a doe, with his nose right in the air passed at 100 yards. I didn't bother calling cause I knew he wouldn't leave her. 45 minutes later two does and a fawn come right to me and the 6 point was in tow.I took Monday morning off and relaxed. Back in the stand at 1.30. Already seed 4 in the first 30 minutes. 2 buck and 2 does. One buck cruising and one chasing. Hopefully its a productive night!
Taking the rest of the week off and might not go back to work until after Thanksgiving.Things have been picking up since Sunday the 9th and have had really good movement through today. Hope to make it happen in the next 4 days.

It was pretty good in the mornings and dead in the evenings. Had a 160 plus in a ravine with a doe on Saturday and they just didn't get close enough. Seems dead again now. hope to see things pick up by the weekend as they try to find one more.Things have been picking up since Sunday the 9th and have had really good movement through today.
