USA curlling team, both mens and womens, have been eliminated from medal contention as of 2 pm.

Call me crazy but curling looks like it'd be a blast. Outside on the ice basically playing a drinking game, time to start a new hobby!
 
You're not crazy Mudster, it is a blast!

Growing up it was always hockey in the winter, ball and golf in the summer. Now that the old bones can't take the pounding anymore am a better fit as a curling 3rd than a center iceman.

P.S.....we treat it the same as beer league softball.
 
I'll have to work harder on getting my wife to take a job north of the border!

I am now rooting for Team Canada based on the hotness of their skipper, though the Japanese team is stupid hot.

The Fins were men in long wigs though.
 
I was kind of eyeballing the 19 yr old skip from great Britain.

I do like the Japanese team. I think our skip has a purchased chest.

We are addicted to watching curling as well. Can't seem to get enough of it - the strategies and theories behind it are finally starting to come to my but I'm sure I would totally suck at it myself. If I hurled that rock down there they had better get out of the way because it would be going like a break shot on billiards, move everything out of the way and blow it out the back wall.

The GB skip looks trashy with that two tone hair.

I think a swimsuit calender with specially picked out ladies could sell well. :drink1:
 
Pass! I'm in for womens biathalon calender. I'm diggin Magdalena Neuner (Germany) I don't know what Floradix and Krauterblut are but I'm gonna buy some. (Damn tiny pictures, its on her rifle)

My brother was on the olympic curling team. I must say I am very proud of his effort. I don't appreciate those of you who are being sarcastic about this very grueling sport!
 
It could be what bagg-o is to many of my friends and I in the summer. I could definately see some bonfires on the pond with some barley pops and curling!

I'd be happy with any number of the women's curlers!
 
I heard the curling stones are made from a special granite quarried from an island off the Scottish coast that is now a wildlife sanctuary i. e. no more cutting out the granite. The area is also known for founder tramping. I think flounder tramping is something that Muddy would excell at. Not only could he tramp on a flounder he could tell you what species of flounder it was.

The USA team prly lost because they were not allowed to take beer in with them. I know I cannot throw bags without a 12 oz. counter weight.

Me neither, it's alot of fun. I'm just not good enough to take it any more seriously than I do. Recreational Curling Bonspeils = Alot of Fun
