Same buck?

Picked up this shed today and it looks awfully familiar to the buck I shot this year.

On the mount the G2 and split on the G3 are rebuilt so it's hard to gauge precisely because they don't match angle and shape perfectly. On the shed, the beam shape, brow and the way the G2 blades out make me think it might be one of his sheds. The right side of the mount buck looks very similar to this shed too.
Thoughts?

Definitely close enough to make you wonder.... The only things that would make me say no is it looks like the distance from the base to the brow and then the brow to the G2 are different. Those should stay very very similar. But maybe it the pics.

That's a little more convincing.

I'd say yes. Taxidermist friend told me to look at the pedicle as it is always very similar year to year. Take a look at that and it may tell you a tale.

Agree with those stated above - do you believe that would've been his shed from the previous year? if so, he blew up!! I think you very well could be right though!

I’m gonna at yes-he split the three and grew the four. But then again I love happy endings.

I honestly have no clue, the shed was pretty bleached out. I think he was 5 when I shot him, so I doubt this would be his shed as a 4yr old. Hard to say though.
