I hate Canada! I really don't know how they don't have every whitetail record even if they don't have that many deer hunters. That website is pretty convincing of the deer they have up there. Because of those regulations that the Govt sticks to up there is the reason they will put out slobs every year and in my opinion is the best quality deer hunting in the world. Just ask Saskguy. thanks for sharing.

The website had it all. There was a picture series of them freeing two locked bucks. Someone found a set of locked bucks that wasn't so lucky.

Almost sounds like I'm financially tied to the place (I could only wish!).

One of these days, if nothing but for a change of scenery....

Wow I can't even imagine living near that many huge deer. it is extreamly evident that they own thousands of acres all across the area. Give'em credit those are some pigs. I wonder if they let anyone shed hunt in the area? No that would be a fun trip. Porbably where good ole saskyguy gets all of his sheds. Just kidding. Canda produces some monsters for sure.

The website you were looking at, "Buck Paradise" isn't too far from where I am, an hour or so. They don't own any acres actually. All whitetail outfitting, unless on an Indian Reserve takes place on PUBLIC land. They have allotments but they own none of it and cannot keep Joe Blow public off it. Of course the areas are huge and Joe blow public is too small in numbers to matter. I for one am thankful they cannot outfit on private ground, Leasing and high market value isn't a problem for now, hope it stays that way.

Saskguy,
Aren't there guide restrictions for non-residents? That would pretty much kill a my chances of a public ground "do it yourself hunt".

You won't get a do it yourself hunt here on public ground. All non residents (U.S) must use the services of an outfitter. Millions of acres of public ground but you must use an outfitter. Like I said, the regs are good for a guy like me.

Man those are some monster bucks. Antlers and bodies alike. I looked at pricing.....I guess I'll be admiring pictures and not hunting them!

I hope your regs stay the same up there. Canada might end up being the last true great place to hunt whitetail when it is all over.
