Saturday morning youth season

Friday evening Mike and his daughter came to my place for the weekends Youth Turkey hunt.

we watched the weather and it didn't look good for the weather Saturday. rain, snow and 25-35 mph winds.

4:45 the alarm went off and they headed out, I rolled over and went back to sleep.

At 7:30 Mike woke me up to come out to take pictures of the turkey that Lyndi shot. She was using her grandpa's 20 ga. shotgun. It came in quiet and circled the decoy before she shot.

the white spots in the pictures....snowflakes !!!

I don't blame you! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Lyndi's smile says it all though! Congrats on a nice tom and a great hunt! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Great bird! Love to see the girls out hunting. I always bring my daughter in to show her harvest pics that the females have put down. I hope she will want to give it a try in a couple of years. Thanks again for sharing!
