then the 10 came by. At first I thought it was the 9 I passed on twice. So I reached for my camera and the strap hit the camera case. the buck standing at 10 yds for some strange reason didn't like the noise and backed off. so I never got a picture of him with one camera, but the camera on the sill caught him twice. that camera is allot slower shutter speed, so the first picture caught movement.

Jack, Hey, from your home town stompin grounds. I also have a Nikon D50 and am totally amazed at the photo quality of the unit--but as a NORMAL GUY-I need more power. Am currently looking for a 200 - 500mm zoom more or less and am looking for EXPERT advise on options. Will a Nikon 2x converter stay clear with the 55-200mm lens I curently own?
Any suggestions on tele-lenses for under $1000? I need low light and long range capabolities--MORE POWER.

Thanks Jack
