SC Iowa- ELK on Camera!!!!

Off topic but a single engine plane flew over us Saturday extremely slow and low. Someone mentioned it could be the DNR, do they do this? Never had a visitor meet up with us on the ground so I had my doubts.

Yes the DNR does fly with the plane. Not sure where they all go, but we have been told "the plane saw hunters so they radioed the us on the ground the location."

When a friend was going to ISU, he would fly the DNR at night looking for spot lighters, then they would radio to the ground the location.
