Schaffer Opposition Slideout Rest

Just wondering if any of you guys have used the schaffer opposition rest? Thinking about switching to it but looking for a little more information before i make the buy... Or any other rests that might compare...

I have never used one, but my shop told me that after awhile, the spring tends to wear out and they become slow and really loud - but like I said, that is just hearsay.

I have heard really good things about the new trophy ridge revolution..
